Whether you’re drawn to a minimalist line drawing, digital watercolor, an elaborate illustrated scene, Jewish motifs and symbols, botanical or floral artwork, collage-style design, or something entirely your own, this offering is an invitation to create a Ketubah around your story.
 
A custom Ketubah might begin with a place, symbol or memory that matters to you as a couple — a landscape you love, a shared ritual, a family or Jewish symbol, a particular flower, an architectural detail, or an image that simply feels like you. Bluth works across digital illustration, digital watercolor, photography and mixed media to create a piece that feels personal while remaining distinctly her own.
 
The custom design process
After purchase, you’ll share your ideas, references and visual direction with Bluth. From there, Bluth will develop initial design concepts for your Ketubah. You’ll have the opportunity to review the artwork and go back and forth through a few rounds of revisions so that the final piece feels right before it is printed.
 
Every Ketubah incorporates Bluth’s custom typeface, developed from her hand-scribed Hebrew lettering, with your personal details — names, wedding date and location, and space for signing — seamlessly integrated into the finished design.
 
Your custom Ketubah can be created with the text of your choice: traditional Orthodox, Conservative or egalitarian options, interfaith, queer, custom texts, and more. Texts can be in Hebrew, English, or both. You can also provide a custom text of your own or one supplied by your officiant. Explore available Ketubah texts here.
 
The finished Ketubah is printed on archival-quality, museum-grade fine art paper, selected to preserve the richness and detail of the artwork for years to come.

Minimalist custom designs, such as a mountain, fig tree or simple motif: $1250 CAD
Full illustration or detailed custom scene: $1900 CAD

Looking for a hand-scribed custom Ketubah?
If you would like your Ketubah text individually scribed by hand with feather quill and kosher ink, rather than digitally typeset using Bluth’s scribed typeface, begin with the Custom Hand-Scribed Original Ketubah. Custom artwork can then be developed as part of that commission, depending on the materials and design.
 
Process & timing
Once you place your order, you’ll receive a form to share your details, preferences, text selection and any ideas or references you’d like to include. Bluth is available throughout the process to offer design and rabbinic guidance. If you’d like to talk through your ideas before ordering, you’re welcome to book a free consultation.
 
Custom Ketubahs are generally created over approximately 1–2 months. Rush commissions may sometimes be possible; please reach out if you are working with a shorter timeline.
 
Ketubahs are shipped unframed.
